Hunting Tips
- Be kind and courteous to others whilst doing the hunt. If you have an issue with someone just mute them, don’t add fuel to the fire by responding.
- Do not im a vendor for help. If you need help you can join the hunter’s group.
- Please do not shout out the direct locations in open chat or in the hunter’s group. It just ruins the fun of the hunt for others, and is plain rude.
- De-prim yourself. You don’t need to really hunt out in a 1k decked out avatar. You will rez and tp faster and help reduce the lag greatly, by just detaching all high primmed/unnecessary accessories.
- Please DO give yourself PLENTY of TIME to REZ, before asking for help in the group. This is a hunt for a reason.
- Make sure your in the right store. If you don’t land directly in the store or in front of it, right click the landmark in your inventory and select about landmark, then click on show on map. Simply follow the red beacon to your destination.

About
Mellow Yellow is a grid wide hunt for items that are yellow, green or a combination of the two, as the main color source for the prize.
# of Stores: 41 Start Date: July 1 End Date: July 25
You will be hunting out sculpted soda cans, that will be priced at 0 lindens, and will contain a prize and a landmark to your next hunting destination. Some can’s will be crushed and some will be regular. Look closely at the banner to see which one you’ll be hunting out!
To get started on the hunt, just teleport to the starting location, and hunt out the can. Find it, buy it and teleport to the landmark in the folder it creates. Rinse and repeat as needed =)
If you get stuck along the way, please remember to check the blog. The blog will be the most updated source of information regarding any issues etc.. If the blog fails ya, and you need more help, then please join the hunt group. You can get to the group, by clicking on any hunt banner, and clicking the url provided in the local chat history!
